At St. Philip's, we are concerned about you as a whole person. We want to
do our best to provide outstanding care for your physical, emotional and
spiritual needs.
Delivering outstanding care requires many people working as one body, the
body of Christ. As believers in Jesus Christ, we work together to care for
our community, both within and outside of the congregation we call St.
Philip's. We all have times in our lives when we need special care. We all
have times in our lives when we can help others. At St. Philip's, we
provide avenues for both to happen.
We hope that you will join us and be a part of how God cares for God's people.
Likewise, we hope that you will allow us the honor of caring for you when
needs arise.
Pastoral Care Ministries
The ministries in this area provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support
in times of need. The pastoral care coordinator is there to listen and offer
support to those who may need to talk through any number of life’s challenges.
When faced with a situation beyond the scope of this ministry, the pastoral
care coordinator will make referrals to someone who can help.

Lay Eucharistic Visitors (LEV)
Lay Eucharistic Visitor (LEV)
This ministry takes the church to those unable to attend due to short-term
or long-term health issues. A licensed Lay Eucharistic Visitor (LEV) will
take communion to those in the parish who request it—whether in the
hospital, a nursing home or a private home. To serve in the LEV ministry training
and licensing is required by the Diocese and is provided by St. Philip’s.

Food Care Teams
This group provides meals for families who have need of short-term care to
help transition through a challenging time. Many people who benefit from this
service are recovering from an illness or surgery or may have just brought
a new baby home.
