Impacting the World for Christ
Our
call as a church is bigger than Frisco, or Texas, or even the United
States. God's vision is to reach the whole
world. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus commands us to "Go and make
disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and
of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." In order to fulfill that
Great Commission, St. Philip's has established mission opportunities in
four different countries. Although that may sound ambitious
for a church that is only a few years old, we know that this is what we
are called to do. And, not only will we be a blessing to
those we serve, but we will be greatly blessed in return.
Mission
work can take many different forms, and require many different skill
sets. At St. Philip's, we have attempted to offer a variety
of different choices in order to provide as many opportunities as
possible for those who feel called to serve in the mission field.
To
your right, you will see links to the pages of the four countries with
which we partner. They are all very different opportunities
for you to consider. If you would like to talk to someone
