Outreach Partners
Embrace connects willing hands with opportunities to serve children in foster, adoptive and kinship care in our community. Throughout the year St. Philip’s helps bring awareness to the need for foster parents in Collin County, hosts a graduation party for kids aging out of the system and assists with a weekend campout for families in foster care.
Frisco Family Services exists to help members of our community who are facing hunger, homelessness and other urgent needs improve their quality of life and achieve self-sufficiency. St. Philip’s works with FFS on many projects throughout the year, such as, summer lunch program, providing thanksgiving boxes and collecting gifts for their holiday store.
Threaded is a Gospel-based racial reconciliation, unity and community engagement organization that partners with those seeking to expand their work in and understanding of racial issues.
Redeemed Women is working tirelessly to address the basic needs of women in the neighborhood of Bonton in South Dallas. This community is predominantly made up of single mothers who have grown up in generational poverty and lack many basic life skills.
Gateway of Grace integrates and empowers refugees to become productive members of society by mobilizing the Church and building Christ-centered relationships. Responding to each family’s specific needs with an assessment and plan of action, refugees are provided basic resources and support to flourish.
Cornerstone Baptist Church in Dallas, serves their neighbors who are experiencing homelessness or other hardships with a soup kitchen, laundromat, clothing closet, home for young mothers, a half-way house, medical and dental clinics, small grocery store and several other ministries. We support them through volunteering and assembling toiletry packs and cutlery packs for the soup kitchen.
Trusted World is committed to providing the best resources, at no cost, to people or organizations who are providing services on someone else’s behalf. St. Philip’s houses two donation bins on our campus and we also receive clothing donations from Trusted World for those we are assisting.
St. Philip's has partnered with Bright Academy for over 20 years offering support to teachers by sending small gifts and notes during the year, hosting a welcome back breakfast, providing classroom supplies when needed, performing odd jobs around the campus; as well as providing financial support for camps and to supplement needed school supplies.
Become a Bright Buddy Mentor
During the school year, students receive support from our Bright Buddy mentors. Just 30 minutes a week will make an impact on a student who is struggling with life as a kid. Contact Rhonda Colgrove for more information.
