Growing in Faith Together

The Bible teaches that all we have is a gift from God (Jas 1:17, 1 Pt 4:10) and that those gifts are for the building up of the Body of Christ (1 Cor 12).

Our call as God’s stewards and Jesus’ disciples is to return to God the first fruits of our harvest as an act of worship: in proportion to what God has given us, sacrificially in confidence of God’s provision, and gracefully as a response to the Good News of Jesus (Dt 26:1-11, Lk 10:1-11).

For many Christians, money is symbolic of the first fruits. Money is one of the ways we accomplish our ministry and mission, either directly or indirectly. Our mission of “Growing Faith that Impacts the World for Christ” rests on the faithful stewardship of the people who are St. Philip’s.

Our goal for this year’s GIFT campaign is twofold. First, that all of us would increase our giving. Do you tithe (10%)? Consider giving 11% this year! Do you give 1% of your income now? Consider giving 2% for 2024!

Secondly, that the Holy Spirit would move 100 people who for whatever reasons have previously not made a gift, to do so. Have you not made a gift before? Consider making an Estimate of Giving of $50 per month. Every gift to St. Philip’s matters! Every gift to St. Philip’s goes to making an impact in the world to the glory of God.
